Sorry if I sound like a noob, just trying to understand here.
If I use a socks5 proxy all my data is UN-encrypted as per what I’ve read and understood so far.
Question 1: Does it mean that someone can intercept the packets and see what and where I am browsing.
Question 2: If I login to a forum that has https, would someone be able to see my credentials by intercepting the packets?
Question 3: Would using socks5 over a VPN container fix these issues while masking my vpn ip address? So basically the VPN would hide both my traffic and home ip and the socks5 would hide my VPN ip on the websites I’m visiting.
Question 4: If all the later is incorrect would using an https proxy resolve all the above issues while hiding my vpn ip address?
Am I completely lost or I’m starting to understand something?
