Hi we are looking for a front end developer with proven/established skills for a new Web based Volunteer For Ukraine (VFU) project. The aim of the project (in short) is to create a web resource to match potential volunteers with specific skills, with matching volunteering opportunities in Ukraine. This will hopefully address a number of issues associated with volunteering in Ukraine, in that as of now there is no single resource where organisations in Ukraine can request specific kinds of help, or volunteers with specific skills. This often leads to a rather chaotic approach to this topic, where many volunteers (who mostly mean well) are forced to travel to Ukraine on spec - and where they may ultimately end up disappointed and return home after some weeks, because they couldn’t find a suitable volunteering opportunity.
So it is these issues we’re seeking to resolve, both for potential volunteers and recruiters.
Preferably our developer should have typescript, javascript, angular, react or vuejs experience.
Also if there are and potential recruiters who might wish to use our service, please feel free to get in touch via PM too. Currently it is not envisaged that this will be a channel for volunteering for combat, but all other options are on the table.
