Thousands of people gathered on the streets of Istanbul to protest a law they say is responsible for the killing of stray dogs in Turkey. Legislators passed the law last month with the aim of removing millions of stray dogs from streets for safety reasons, but activists say it will lead to widespread culling or dogs ending up in shelters running over capacity.
