People have different names for the colors they see. Language can affect how we memorize and name colors. This is a color naming test designed to measure your personal blue-green boundary.
I think my problem is that I firmly have a “teal” category which I can’t call green OR blue. As in, I would get in an argument for someone calling it one way or the other.
I had the same issue when I tried this the other day! There’s a big “neither/both” gap that I wish it accounted for. But I suppose it’s not really the point of this particular test. Would be interesting to measure that somehow, though!
Having worked with printers a lot my first thoughts were, neither that’s cyan. But having to choose I got 174.
Interesting, about halfway through i stopped being able to recognize a difference.
Same. I think that’s the point. It narrows it down.
Haven’t tried it out yet, but I’ve fantasized about this tool for so long! My wife has a different cultural background and what she calls blue vs what she calls green blows my mind on a regular basis
181 blue… Whatever the frig that means.
175 for me
171, but like others, after halfway, most looked blueish green or greenish blue which I would categorize as neither green nor blue, and I had to pick one, so I just picked what maybe looked like the dominant color? Idk how trustworthy my results are.
