I found this red scaled Wectoblade on eBay a few weeks ago. It was caked with hard layers of grime, but also super cheap, so I took a chance and it came over the pond in my most recent reshipper bundle. After a few rounds in the ultrasonic cleaner and scratching the verdigris off the rivets it is now almost pristine.
After a long and Tabac-free November, this Tabac Tuesday was a delight. What started as a meme has become an uplifting little ritual.

This was my inaugural shave with the SSL set I received over the weekend. All I can say is damn, I can understand why this soap gets so much praise. It’s like salty lime and sea breeze, just a lovely combination. The performance was great too.
Also my first shave with the TNS v9 knot. The handle is gorgeous in person and the knot performed quite well. An excellent shave all around.

-> a quick single pass shave on both head and face before my appointment at the optician for getting new glasses.
A very nice shave regardless. Wanted to smell good but inoffensive, so barbershop scents are a good choice for that. The Hawk V2 is good for shaping my goatee area, generally SE razors are very favourable for getting sharp lines.

The blade started to feel a bit different today… I’m not sure how long these Polsilvers last in general, but it might be time to swap it out.
