Well, the article isn’t that deep anyways so you didn’t miss out on much… And the overly specific categorization of swarm genders feels more like taxonomy than someone actually making the point that gender is more diverse than mere arbitrary labels. I’m sure there are many much more nuanced articles out there.
Yeah, semantically the argument makes some some sense (though in cultural practice it doesn’t quite fit), but putting transphobic comments and homophobic jokes without any kind of warning is shitty. I get the joke at the end is meant to turn it on it’s head, but again, because the idea doesn’t quite fit culturally it just falls flat.
