OK. This is starting to piss me off now. Every god damn time. Screen(s) turn off during routine apt dist-upgrade when nvidia driver is being updated. Only hard reset helps. WTF is going on? It’s been like that for the last few months. I’m running vanilla Ubuntu 22.04. Behavior is consistent both on my laptop and desktop, so it’s not machine specific. Tried both current stock kernel versions 5.19 and 6.2.
