Actually they haven’t admitted to shooting it down. It was more like:
“Sorry your plane crashed in Russian airspace.”
“Sorry your plane had an, unfortunate accident. Let’s be more careful from now or it would be a shame if you had any more, accidents.”
Thing is, it didn’t even crash in Russian airspace. It crashed over in Kazakhstan. It has a “
malfunction” “unplanned traumatic experience” over Russian airspace.That’s way more on-brand for Putin
