I’m Planing to buy a Drive Enclosure, and I’m thinking about getting the HPE P2000 AP843B

My only question is, Is it able to use it without the RAID functionality?

Would it be so simple as of plugging this Controller Setup into an HP LSI SAS9207-8e?

I’m not quite sure if it would work as I intend.
