Hi people,

I’m not using Windows anymore, so I have no way of backing up my iPhone. So far I had a VM on my local Computer with windows, where I have passed through the iPhone as a usb-Device and was able to back it up. I was wondering if there is any way of achieving this through a remote desktop implementation (doesn’t have to be RDP). All my googleing lead to half backed solutions or an extra hardware device which I want to avoid. Is there something like, opening remote client, selecting usb-device, connect and device is visible on the other end?

I know iPhone can sync wirelessly, but that has been iffy at best for me.
