Given how regime changes like this tend to go, I do not have high hopes for the short term future of Syria. I’d love to be proven wrong, but history doesn’t show this to be the case and the red flags that HTS is exhibiting (e.g. the proposed education reforms, the funding from turkey, the history of the leadership, etc) doesn’t help.
