19’ Substitution, Frosinone. Marco Brescianini replaces Simone Romagnoli because of an injury.
21’ Goal! Roma 1, Frosinone 0. Romelu Lukaku (Roma) left footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal. Assisted by Paulo Dybala.
46’ Enzo Barrenechea (Frosinone) is shown the yellow card for a bad foul.
A win along with a clean sheet was much needed. N’Dicka was a bit shaky, shit could’ve gone bad if Frosinone posed any attacking threat. Nice assist by Dybala but too many turnovers that would prove costly against a top side(already have). Brilliance from Bove. Lukaku is clinical. This club’s best football won’t be unleashed until Cristante actually plays his position, let’s see what the injury gods say in the next weeks
Great win for the squad morale. We need Smalldini back asap and hopefully either Sanches or Aouar becomes fit and starts being a regular, otherwise our midfield has no creativity whatsoever. Dybala and Lukaku will gel together more as soon as our midfield gets fixed and they don’t have to keep compensating for them.
Better. Still some way off good, but a step in the right direction and a clean sheet is nice too.
eh I’ll take the 3 points, Dybala was shockingly bad, Pellegrini needed the goal and I’m starting to be fine with Karsdorp staying, Ndicka had a slightly better game than usual, Bove was really good on those 2nd balls unlike Frosinone’s midfield. Patricio was once again awful, thank god he didn’t have to do anything.
Having Lukaku also helps I guess
Thank god Frosinone didn’t do their due diligence before the game, by checking Rui conceded 8 goals out of the last 10 shots on target.
They got 0 shots on target this game, trying to build plays instead of just shooting from not-so-great positions :P
I was thinking during the game if im Ramsdale and this shit at Arsenal finds no solution i would consider going to Roma on loan in the winter. Their first 2 choice keepers are pretty bad, you get to be coached by Mourinho, play pretty much every game and get to live in Rome being loved by everybody and away from english media.
Lukaku still a top 7 striker in the world
