Came to PieFed.social from Lemm.ee about a month ago. Currently only using PieFed on my desktop because my brief Android client search gave me a non-working app.

I normally sort by Top 12 Hours and on my phone (Lemmy Connect logged into sh.itjust.works) I can see NSFW post once I get down to posts with less than 100 upvotes. Using PieFed.social on my desktop I don’t see them. I checked settings but nothing popped out to me.

What am I missing?

      Damn. I may have left a detail out.

      When I sort by Top 12 Hours I am sorting All, not just PieFed.social. Does that make sense?

        Yeah but you are using piefed.social which doesn’t have any NSFW communities, so the only nsfw posts are occasional random things.

        If you go to https://crust.piefed.social/auth/instance_chooser and then filter by ‘NSFW content available’ you’ll see the instances that allow NSFW communities. Of those feddit.online has been around the longest and will have the deepest back catalogue but any of them will be fine for casual browsing.

          I agree there are no NSFW communities in piefed.social or most Lemmy servers.

          I am viewing all servers. NSFW toots often appear when sorting by Top posts.

    There really isn’t a feature for it. I’ve been asking for this for a long time. I just want a box I can toggle with effectively 3 options: I don’t want to see NSFW posts, I want to see NSFW posts when they occur, I want to see ONLY nsfw posts.

        I mean, thats not really what I’m asking for.

        Its a UI implementation/ issue. The data are there. They’re already tagged with NSFW and I see all of lemmy and all of piefed in my streams.

        Its that neither lemmy nor piefed gives us the option to toggle nsfw.

          I use Lemmy Connect on my Android and it gives the option to show, blur, or hide NSFW posts.

          I’d like the same options on PieFed on my desktop and in an Android App.
