For example, if whenever I step from a standstill, I always use my right leg. Will my legs become asymmetrical?
They already are. :)
Only if you walk barefoot so you’re eroding away the bottoms of your feet.
I believe I’d always start with my right leg too and it’s because I’m right handed, which means everyone probably favors one leg that way so no it’s not a problem.
Yes! I’m living proof haha I favor my right leg because of an injury from over a decade ago. My hip on my right side is naturally higher. Lots of issues with hip flexibility and strength. Oh well
Going through that right now (Leg length discrepancy aka LLD), it’s not fun! For me seems like a hip issue could be an old injury or something else, started seeing doctors about it. Gonna be a long year, ugh.
Have you found a good masseuse? I wouldn’t say it’s the best way to solve the issue since it costs a lot of money and it’s only temporary, but it has helped me when it gets really bad. Good luck you got this!
Good to get in with a podiatrist and see what is there and can be done if possible. People who walk improperly (not straight + basically with feet and legs basically moving parallel) end up with greater mobillity issues throughout their life
If you walk around in a circle then one leg is being rubbed down to just a nub far quicker than the other. Maybe.
Gotta remember to rotate them every few thousand miles
The heel of the right shoe will wear out faster probably.
