So, Polestar is the only Chinese car that I know of that has a loophole that allows it to be sold in the US. It’s really nice, plus I got it used with low mileage.

From what I understood there was never a ban on Chinese cars being sold in the US, they just put an 100% tariff on them to make it impractical for both dealers and buyers.
Gotcha, I vaguely remember that now that you mention it. I wonder if that doesn’t apply to Polestar since they weren’t originally a Chinese-owned company, and even now Geely only owns 22% of them.
I think Geely also (partially?) owns Volvo now.
Yep, I saw that as well. I saw some new Volvos at the dealer and they look really nice.
