Absolutely unbelievable to me that Ghana looked like they had never seen an indirect free kick in the box. Should have had all 10 field players on the goal line with the keeper out front. Really simple to defend, crazy how no one had any idea what to do
Anyone have a clip for what the indirect freekick was for?
All I know is that because a Ghana player was sitting on the ball.
That face at the end lmao
Damn
I’m disappointed. It should be 7-0
Indirect free kick schenigans are the best schenigans
I’ve been following this sport for 11 years now and I think indirect free kicks are witchcraft
Bruh for some reason this is soooo satisfying
I don’t think I’ve ever seen an indirect free kick inside the penalty area for that. Now that I think about it, a backpass is basically the only thing I see them for.
“He’s back. He’s blonde”
Love indirect free kicks in the box
Ghan-Who?
Smart by Pulisic to pad the stats for the assist
That was dope AF
Trying to remember the last time I saw an indirect free kick inside the box goal at a professional level lmao
Happened to Chelsea about a year ago due to a back pass from the other team.
there was one in the 2002 world cup and i know CR7 scored one at some point but im not sure where
Last time I saw this happen I was… playing in AYSO lmao
There were indirect free kicks in ayso? Hahaha
Was gonna say, I absolutely haven’t thought about this since I was about 13.
(England’s first goal vs USA)[https://youtu.be/AGjLnFC7dxk?si=l56hPY9aBbGG59zd] (2:03 for the backpass) at the SheBelieves Cup in 2019. I was there and there were a lot of confused spectators because indirect free kicks in the box are so rare!
