When Sarper said Shekinah was a slut and a bitch, he seemed shocked that the sister was offended by that. And Shekinah acting like she was offended as well was definitely phony. She knows he struggles to come up with the right English words to express himself and she could have explained this to her sister instead of feeding into the drama. In any real family situation, this would have been explained because a real family wouldn’t want all the drama. They’d want you to understand the person you’re about to spend the rest of your life with, right? If that was really the plan. So this only feeds into the fact that this is all for tv.

The plastic surgeries aren’t only what they’re all about. It’s also the fake story line. Can you actually picture them spending a day alone in the apartment without their makeup on and just hanging in their pajamas, cuddling and reading on a Sunday afternoon? Thats what real relationships do. This one is for the camera.

It’s fully fake, I don’t even really watch them for storyline, it’s pretty much all made up. Shekinah’s sister doesn’t care about DMs; also, she came to town “for the weekend”… you mean to tell me that she flew all the way from LA to Istanbul to visit “for the weekend”? Not impossible, but unlikely? Absolutely. The whole “slut”/“bitch” thing = fake. Anger over social media? Maybe in the past, but also fake. They are just fake. But Sarper out of breath from dancing, and talking to her about how he doesn’t get an erection dancing for other ladies?? Real and hilarious lol. I watch for cringe moments like THAT; not because I believe their story.

Same! I watch because I have to see what ridiculous storyline they’ve got next. As in, you haven’t seen your sister in weeks and you floy all the way over there only to leave after a conversation with her boyfriend that’s what, 20 minutes long? And Shekinah doesn’t even explain her guys misunderstanding of the words he’s saying? It could have made for a cute conversation about culture differences or language barriers. That was pure gold made up by TLC, and I’m sure everyone high fived her after they yelled cut and opened the “hallway” door where she was waiting. She and her sister hugged and she high fived SARPER. “That was great! You really looked pissed!” They say to her.

I’m ashamed of myself for continuing to be curious. But I don’t care. I broke my knee and I’m stuck sitting here, so……lol
