But… Why? The only role I can remember him ever being decent in was fight club and American psycho, and that’s mainly because it was enjoyable to watch Jared Leto get his shit rocked. Every movie I can think of that he’s been in a lead role has bombed.

30 seconds to mars? First album was okay, maybe the rest of their music would be better if he’d stop trying to fuck 15 year olds backstage.
Gird your loins and try “Requiem for a Dream”. It’s a phenomenal heartbreak of a movie and I genuinely think Leto was fantastic in it. It’s a flick I think everyone oughta watch at least once.
Apart from that? No clue where anyone got the idea he was a “franchise-leading man”. Or an A-Lister, for that matter.

He was good in House of Guuci. I think he should stick to minor roles or tertiary characters.
