EDIT: I’d been 11 hours since I posted this. Scott Frakes isn’t a real person. Jonathan doesn’t have a twin brother. His middle name is Scott. This is a long running joke from Mission Log podcast. Whenever Thomas Riker was in an episode or they mentioned him, they would pretend he was played by a person named Scott Frakes, the imaginary twin brother of Jonathan Frakes.

That’s because they used his duplicated clone, Soft Flakes, as his stand-in.

It’s an honest shock that he came back in a different series.

But yeah, they should have finally gotten around to rescuing him during the Dominion War or something.

How’s Mission Log these days? Haven’t listened since just after Ken’s departure. Don’t listen to Greatest Gen anymore either, which has sadly left me bereft of Trek podcasts

Can’t speak to Mission Log, but the Nextlander Watch cast is in the midst of their Summer of Trek, and have just hit the midway point of season 2. Seems like they do a couple episodes every week. The crew is made up of former Gamespot/Giant Bomb employees (Vinny Caravella, Alex Navarro, and Brad Shoemaker), if you’re familiar with their previous work.

I’m behind five years. I have literally 1,185 unlistened episodes in my podcatcher. I subscribe to a lot.

EDIT: That is 1,185 total, not of Mission Log. But yes, the majority is Mission Log.
