SHH Shifter Not Detected Correctly In Games

I have an SHH Shifter Newt2 and it’s not being detected correctly in games. In Windows Game Controllers menu and CM it shows correctly but in games (tested in Drift21 and AC) it’s detected as a Xbox Xinput controller. I’m unable to map the gears correctly because of this. Does anyone have advice on fixing this? Or could the shifter have gone bad?
