Can the YPAO mic be used for things such as …

• testing speaker outputs with software analysers?

• as generic mic?

or are they only good for their intended purpose?

I’ve got some old speaker boxes and a few midrange drivers which I’m messing around with, mostly for fun. I want to measure their output objectively to see what their spectrum coverage is like. I was hoping to save money by maybe using the YPAO mic instead of buying an actual measurement mic.
