For those unfamiliar with the Fraser Method, it involves shooting a movie digitally, then converting it to film, than scanning it back to digital for theatrical display.

My question is this, for more modern records recorded digitally, would there be a sonic advantage to converting the digital master to tape, then back to digital again before the vinyl is made?
