So I have a bolt in my engine which had its head snapped off from overtightening. Just wondering if there’s a particular amount of torque or rating for a drill in order for me to drill a hole through it to extract it.
Or is the material of the drill bit more important? I have a very cheap Harbor freight 12v drill. And an extractor set. Last time I tried it, I didn’t use a punch to make a hole so the drill didn’t work. Eager to try again, but wondering if I need a better drill.
