Crying children are common place in regular, mid-range restaurants, but. at least from what I’ve seen from TV shows, movies and documentaries and the like, those super fancy restaurants are almost always very quiet and peaceful.
I’ve never been in any fancy place like that before so maybe all I’m seeing is just an idealised stereotype of what those fancy places’ atmospheres are actually like, but to me one of the first things that come up when I think of fine dining is calm and quiet.
So, if they don’t bring their kids/toddlers there then where else would they go out with them to have a meal? If you did bring a young one into one of those fine dining places and they started to make a bit of noise, would you be asked to leave. How else would they deal with it?
