I was just reading through some posts today and in every thread I see that brings up Christianity, I see a lot of people bring up how ridiculous it is and how it’s a terrible thing to believe in. I understand that people have done horrible things and justified it with Christianity, but I feel like Reddit sees every aspect of it to be terrible. I also understand people have their own opinions, but when I saw someone try and defend it they got hit with downvotes and comments telling them they are foolish for following it.

Am I just being sensitive? Maybe. I just want to understand the stigma against the religion itself rather than the people who use it for evil.
