Would this be time travelling? ( Sorry for the waffle I’m half baked)

( my though.) Imagine two men were in prison and planning to escape. They knew that knowing the time the guards do checks is useful to them but only have access to a watch for telling the time. One guy stays up the whole night counting down the time that the checks were and tells his buddy for example “hey they do the checks at 2:24am” but his buddy’s watch is 1 minute off from the other guys watch( but they’ve been inside for like 6 years and that watch has been the only source of knowing what the time is they’ve never compared watch times or anything he’s just always believed he’s 1 behind actual time) . So he adjusts his watch 1 minute ahead. Sorry for the waffling, I hope some of you understand it. But the point was would he technically be time travelling
