I’m traveling in Europe and I’ve seen the same person multiple times throughout the day at different areas of the city I was in (yesterday afternoon and then 5x total today).

It started when this mid-20’s, attractive, female solo traveler approached me to ask if I can take a video of her (she explained that she prefers videos over photos because she can take screenshots of herself later). I recorded her video on her phone and I asked if she can take one for me and my family as well, and she did. Didn’t think much else of this interaction but I do distinctly remember wondering why she was alone since she didn’t look like “the typical solo traveler,” if I can say that.

The next day, while traveling in the same city, I run into her again and while it took me a second to register where I have seen this person before, she recognized me right away and said hello as she walked past me. My sister and I found it funny that we saw her again and noticied she was wearing a very similar, if not the same outfit as the day before which we found unusual since it was a very distinct outfit. About an hour later, I visit a bar that is about an hour away from the place I saw her and as I am dining outside, I see her again walking past my table.

This time it felt weird. I avoided eye contact and paid for my drink then left to the metro station. As I bought my train ticket, I see her AGAIN behind me, lingering around. She was not buying a ticket. As I approach the platform, I see her on my platform and see her getting in the train. I avoided that specific train and took the one right behind it. When I arrived at my station, I saw her there again at my stop. She exited left so I exited right. As my sister and I were walking out of the station, my sister spots her AGAIN. What we found strange was that this woman went right back into the station she just came out of (I should also note that I don’t think she saw us when we were outside of the station).

Now my question is: Am I the only one who thinks this is strange? What could possibly be happening?
