I have a plain stereo with a sub, and we love its sound. We run the audio from an Apple TV 4k through it. We’re interested in getting surround sound, and not Apple’s virtual version available through Home Pod.

I was hoping I could just add two wireless rear channels and maybe a center channel where the TV is. I’m having trouble searching for this, as I’m new to home theater and I’m not entirely sure what all I’m looking for.

EDIT: I just got the bot-mailed FAQ regarding wireless. I’m not insistent on wireless, just thought it would be nice. Power cables to the suggested wireless satellite speakers is just fine. Still, happy to hear about wired solutions too.

It’s a standard stereo receiver. We’re just running an audio extractor on the HDMI signal.
