Hi! I’m new to this subreddit. I’m wondering if any of you know when watchOS 10.1 is coming out? I’ve been having an off and on issue that my battery is draining excessively fast and I want to see if doing a software update will help. Thanks!

My Series 7 drains ridiculously fast. Only lasts a few hours. Essentially it’s useless. It was fine on 10.01 Not sure what they added to make the battery run down that fast.

Watch updated over night. Battery was at 100% at 5 am. By 9:15 am, watch was at 6%. Series 8.

I’m having a similar experience with my Series 7 on 10.1. My battery is draining to 0% in about an hour. Now it will not charge past about 40%. It’ll charge up to 40%, then start to slowly drain. My watch is essentially useless at this point. I reset and set up as a new watch and it did not help.

Ditto. Went from 61% at 9pm and down to 40% at 7am ON THE CHARGER!

Apple tried to blame me for installing the Beta. It auto updated to 10.1 and I have Beta’s turned off…

Time to find the ole Timex

Do not update to 10.1. Charging heats up the watch, and the battery drain is so real. 86% to about 7% in ~5hrs. Something is wrong. Anyone knows how to go back to an old version?

Am on Series 8, stainless steel.
