This apparently also applies to Apple TV, Apple News and the Apple One bundles.
$10/month for Apple TV is pretty steep for the most limited and smallest catalog streaming service.
I asked the people I’m sharing family with to chip in. If they don’t, I’m cutting quite a lot.
Is there even anything good on Apple arcade?
Honestly I’m tempted to just bump down from Apple One Premier all the way to just iCloud+.
Everything else has been rising. The raise I got earlier this year has been eaten up and then some.
Just cancel this, you don’t need all this stuff.
It’s getting to the point where it’s best to rotate one streaming service at a time rather than subscribe to multiple. Catch up on Netflix for a couple months, cancel and go to Max, etc.
Doesn’t affect me. I got Apple TV free with my iPad and couldn’t be arsed to keep subscribing. The hit rate is high with their shows, but it’s not worth the money.
I can’t even say that for Arcade. I tried it and hardly any of the (surprisingly few) games were actually any good. And the best game - Manifold Garden - has an absolutely awful control scheme on the iPad.
Apple One basic individual plan is $20/month now and premier is $38. Kinda crazy at this point.
$38? I’m paying $32.95 tax included
We’re probably looking at $40-42 with tax then.
$38 is the new price on your next renewal.
Ah. Interesting. The subscriptions page still says $32.95 for the next renewal. May end up dropping everything except Music and iCloud.
Not for long…
No thanks, also sucks how we can’t mix and match services at lower tiers
I tolerated it as it was part of One bundle for the family. Maybe it’s time to go for piece meal with this price increase. Apple Music family is really only thing that we truly use it all the time.
I get it free through Verizon but tbh, the price is still affordable for what you get however price increases are unfortunate, especially when it’s not directly related, and they increase their whole line.
