I have a 2020 i3 MacBook Air and I got it wet yesterday, like soaking wet I dropped a water bottle on it and I turned it off right away and unplugged it and let it dry for 24 hours, I turned it back on today and it has blue/purple flickering lines but only when pressure is applied to the screen. What should I do and can this worsen?

you should store open and upside down for at least two weeks to ensure the water has evaporated before contemplating turning it on.

Note that the Triangle arrangement (with the hinge at the top) keeps all the electronics as far away as possible from any pooling water. You’ll also have access to the base cover. I recommend removing that and then disconnect the battery.

Turning it on will likely make it much worse.
