I’m a college student who’s looking to be off their phone more and track my steps. Which series Apple Watch would be good?

An SE or a used S7. If it’s your first time buying one, you don’t know how much utility you’ll get out of it. You might find you never use it at all and you’re gonna lose a lot of money when you come to sell that top spec S9 or Ultra.

    I’m a student, I recently bought the S9, and I don’t regret. If u don’t have enough money, go S8 or SE2

As a first time owner I have loved my SE, I’ve owned it nearly two years now and it was a massive improvement over the the Fitbit i was using before.

At this point I’m looking to upgrade myself (probably to the 9 as the Ultra 2 is beyond my budget. I’d recommend anyone shorter on funds look to the SE first.

This is dependent on budget. Since it’s your first why not go ahead and get the S9 that way you’re future proof for a while? If money is an issue the SE2 is a good option. You could always look at Apples refurbished watches. Apple is the one company I don’t mind buying refurbished from since they give the same warranty as new and you can add AppleCare.

I plus one this… I have a S8 I don’t wear because it’s aluminum. I bought a used Hermes S7 with 93% battery capacity for less than a new SS9 or Ultra. No one knows the difference and could care less either. Save the money… you’re in college. You won’t use half the features. If you have to get new buy a SE. the novelty of pinching your fingers to turn a feature on off will wear off by next Xmas.

Compare the features of the SE and the 9 and see if you really need the extra features that the 9 provides. If not, stick with the SE.

I really wanted the O2 measurement, so I got the Series 8 last year and am very happy with it.
