The murderer just fell right into his lap? I guess there’s more going on what with the beheading, but still, that was a surprisingly quick ending to that plot line. I guess we’re getting another backstory episode next week. No idea how this show can keep making decisions that I don’t like, but I still look forward to, and enjoy, watching it every week anyway.

Something very weird going on with that murder, it seems. Presumably a yokai was involved somehow, but why? And we still don’t know what the notes they keep passing are for, which feels like an artificial attempt at suspense.

This show really shouldn’t be as entertaining as it is. I think it’s because they went to a lot of trouble to make the slice-of-life/family-drama portions work.
