This might have been the best episode so far. The OWEL lady not trying to kidnap Amoru was a nice surprise. I feel like all the characters acted in a way that makes sense not only with their character, but also their current emotional states. If we can have more episodes like this, they might be able to make a true emotional arch for these characters, which would be very impressive.

I feel like they trust everyone too much. This time was fine but what if it wasn’t…

Also I’m curious to see what happens in the end. Is Towasa alive? If she is then what about Yugure? It’s going to be complicated.

My bet is that what they’ll end up finding is Towasa’s last message rather than Towasa herself, or if she is alive (in suspended animation or as an uploaded mind in a computer system), she’ll be in no condition to be the MC’s romantic partner. It’s implied she lived at least several decades past the point he was shot, so even in the absolute best case they’d have a considerable age difference to overcome.

But who knows? Maybe they’ll surprise me.

At first I just thought that she became one of the androids and part of the memories are missing but at this point I think it’s very unlikely. She could be alive in a young body though, if they have such advanced technology they could probably stop aging. Then again if she’s alive why Yugure found MC and why is she so interested in him.

The message would be a nice ending. Really sad for Towasa though. Even if MC finds another love she has lived alone for the rest of her life.

Based on how plot logic usually works, the logical candidate for an android housing Towasa’s consciousness would be Yugure herself, but the personalities don’t seem to fit. Towasa is shown as a compulsive tinkerer who’s almost too smart for her own good, and Yugure has none of that as far as I can tell.
