Sad part is, the youngs are being conditioned to like this. They wont know any different (just like ads embedded in every facet of their life)
Anyone over 30 will have to just watch old movies or cringe at how bad new ones look.
In large part, they aren’t, and haven’t been for years.
I remember being amazed at seeing footage before and after something as relatively simple as digital color correction.
That started with O Brother Where Art Thou in 2000, 25 years ago now.
Modern films are like that because of money. Bland is closer to the common taste than eccentric.
This explains everything wrong with Movies and Tv nowadays.
