I whole heartedly believe their running backs would be fringe roster guys on almost any team. Their run game is so well schemed and their oline is amazing.
Before Keaton showed the world how much of a beast he is, our rb depth was looking putrid. If Gus went down, we’d be relying on Hill, who let’s just say isn’t a fan favorite at this point of the year
Mitchell is still unproven and has started the year pretty injured. So he’s a wild card at best.
Gus, statistically, is having a below average year. That could either be wear and tear on him or our new OC doesn’t run the ball and scheme up elite running plays like Roman did. Roman may have been a terrorist for the passing game but he was a savant for the run game.
Hill isn’t a premier back and despite a few nice runs, isn’t anything special. A nice depth piece.
Our running game is also propped up by Lamar running the ball. We’ve always had him be a high percentage of our run but you typically don’t see 30% of your rushing yards in your QB.
Adding in a premier back such as Henry takes a ton of pressure off our pass game and it allows our RB’s more depth and less touches leading to fresher backs. Gus is great for our team but no one is sitting here saying that Gus is in the same category as Henry. (Minus yards per attempt).
Keaton was pretty injured? He started with a *wink wink* IR because after what he showed in preseason there was no way he would last on the practice squad.
Ravens just dropped a bag on Lamar’s head. He’s not playing anywhere else and he’s playing there for a long time. Ownership is gonna want to maximize how long they’re going to be good under him rather than go all in. Cap situation is already gonna be wonky, they’ll need the picks to minimize how much they’re paying not-QB to be in Baltimore.
Do the Ravens really need additional RB. Their running game and RBs aren’t that bad.

Yeah I honestly agree with you, also Lamars a cheat code with option plays, he makes it 10x easier for rbs as the defense is usually confused

Need? No
Want? Yes
Why throw when run do trick
And, Why offense when defense do trick?
Mostly just for depth considering after Dobbins injury Gus Edwards is our last proven RB
Though if Keaton Mitchell is for real that will help a lot

He is on track to set PRs for both running and receiving, and already has more TDs than any other season.

The stats on my fantasy team have determined this is a lie
Yards per carry wise it’s a down year, but he’s been killing it recently and he’s a td machine
I mean the king on the ravens immediately makes them Super Bowl locks
they’d like to be able to go into a wildcat offense in the 3rd quarter when they’re winning by 8 TDs
