Where I live it’s pretty common to use motorbikes and scooters for day to day commute. I’ve heard people talk about how bad the vibrations from them can be to mechanical watches.
Is it really that bad? Sounds kinda counter productive that these watches that were built for sports like diving or motorsport or were used extensively in the wars of the 20th century can’t withstand the vibrations of a motorbike.
It won’t affect them, the human body is remarkably good at absorbing shock before it reaches the watch. I use a motorbike as my main source of transport and always wear mechanical watches. No issues at all.
