This would drive politicians of all levels to try and improve the lives of everyone they represent. You get in representing your local section of council and average income is 100k that’s what you earn. You make changes and improve lively hood, all for a sudden you earn 110k everyone is 10k richer. The biggest issue I see is it might cause politicians to drive gentrification in their represented area though.
