You shouldn’t be having that much rem, not that you should take sleep tracking seriously, it’s extremely inaccurate

I always have a lot of REM sleep. I feel like I dream most of the night. I remember a lot of my dreams. and a lot of them are vivid dreams 😳

That looks brutal. I have the same problem but not that intense. Honestly it doesnt matter for me if i sleep 6,8,10,12 or 16h I am tired afterwards.

yeah, that’s exactly how I am also. I wish I could be consistent and see if that would help.

First of all it depends on your age, as we get older our deep sleep decreases and second for most people if not all deep sleep happens during the first hours of the night so right after you have fallen asleep. But yeah, you could do some research, in regards to sleep check out the book ‘Why we sleep’ by Matthew Walker.

Deep sleep is always recored only in the first 2 hrs of hitting the bed, after which an individial always switches from REM and Core. No matter how long you sleep.

Be careful how much stock you put into those information as it’s not an Electroencephalograph. It’s only an outline of a few biometrics with deduced information.

Your body don’t need deep sleep when you’re in bed for so long. For having deep sleep- you also have to use your body fysical about 15-16 hours. Then sleep 7-8 hours. And to gain more sleep, also pay attention to WHEN you’re trying to get the deep sleep.

If you upgrade to Series 9 or Ultra 2, you can use the new double tap feature to get two hours of extra deep sleep per tap. 👌🏻

I sleep for 7 hours and have 45 mins of deep sleep, or 8-9%. Internet tells that it could be 25% and it bothers me a little. Though I feel ok

Go to sleep and wake up at same time. Do this for at least a week and you should start to see more deep sleep. Also don’t oversleep. When I oversleep my deep sleep lacks the next night.

Good tips here but also don’t let sleep tracking get in your head. You should primarily go off how you feel rather than what your watch is telling you. As long as you’re getting 7/8 hours of sleep (or more) and you feel alright you’re fine.

    Otherwise see a doctor.

I’d remove the (or more) people getting over 9 hours of sleep start to develop problems from sleeping too much or it can be a sign of problems currently occurring.
