She is going to want to go back home and I don’t blame her. His place is like a hoarder, it appears his mom has some mental issues, but that doesn’t mean he can’t be clean. Dude is a slob. I don’t even think he showered before getting in bed

You’d be surprised how many people don’t shower before they get into bed, it’s the “I’ll shower in the morning” types. I never understood that logic.

Shower before bed? I’ve always showered in the morning. So do my husband and kids. Only shower again at night if we exercise after work.

Same. I shower in the morning and sit on my sofa all day (work from home.) In the summer I usually shower again before bed because if I’m even just a little sweaty, I can’t sleep. So takin*t he dog for a walk I the evening when the temperature is still well into the 80’s, I get a little sweaty. So I’ll typically shower morning and night then. But like now being cold out, I usually don’t shower until the afternoon as I work from home alone all day, then exercise in the afternoon when I finish work, then shower.

And what about sexy time? Even if you’re ok with taking the grime of the day into your bed with you surely you don’t have want to have a threesome with it.

I guess it didn’t seem particularly filthy when I watched it, but I might just not have been paying enough attention. What’s disgusting to me is that like 1/3 of their living space is a full on guinea pig compound. It’s great that they seem properly cared for and have room to move around but maybe its time to rehome them while you’re living in these… circumstances.

I think the way they have all the containers and clutter laying out side by side instead of stacking the crap takes up more space than needed. Why can’t they stack those Tupperware containers? Just doing that would make room for a small eating table. But do they want to eat in the animal room? Is the smell so bad that they have no desire to eat near them? It looks like the pigs are well taken care of and have a clean living space. I think the guy and the mom are just never in the animal area. He is always in his room working or playing games. Mom is always in her closet so they don’t feel a need to enhance the animal area for humans. It will be fascinating to see what Analí does about the situation. Also I feel mom will never get on her feet and live alone. He will be stuck with her for life.

At least he HAS a bathroom. Has Mother in the Closet ever been done before? I think his girl was more upset about the space given the animals and lack of space for humans . I doubt this can work But when she said that young people start with nothing and build together She was my 90 day heroine in the moment

I agree it’s getting ridiculous by the seasons, but for some reason removing any little bit of 90 Day from my life is something I just can’t do regardless haha! Although I did stop watching the spinoff where they did couples therapy at a resort after two lousy episodes. Maybe I’m just sick of those same people with the same problems but boooooring AF

Where is she going to hang out? He works from Home, looks like his office is in his room. There is no couch, no table, is she going to sit in the balcony? Or in the closet with mom? I feel bad for her, prob will get worse before it gets better.

I get that Clayton’s mom is a hoarder and there may be logistical reasons for not upgrading to a 2 bedroom apartment. Maybe he fears that his mom would become too comfortable and never leave, or that she’d fill up the extra space with even more junk. And I get that the way they’re currently living, with each of them sequestered to their bedrooms, was kind of working when it was just the two of them. But…you’d think that Clayton would have made more of an effort to make room for Anali, as in make actual rooms with actual useable living space and things like sofas, chairs, a small dining table. Why couldn’t he move all of that crap into another storage unit that would run him like another $50? $100? a month? Yes the guinea pig cage takes up a decent amount of space, but it looks like there would still be room for a proper living room if he just moved all of the miscellaneous stuff that’s strewn about.

Or move all the apartment crap AND closet mom into a storage unit for $50-$100 a month. It would be a total upgrade for her from the closet, and she would have more room to hoard stuff. I know storage units don’t have toilets, sinks or showers but let’s be honest, I definitely get pees in an empty soda bottle/no showering/doesn’t own a toothbrush vibes from closet mom anyway.

This whole situation was upsetting. First, I think this guy is one of the best guys so far— in the way that he has compassion and empathy for his mother (albeit allowing her to live in a closet, but it does appear that she claimed the closet and seems ok with it). He also seems aware of the hoarding and obvious mental illness (although not sure if he realizes how bad it is). I was impressed that he addressed language with his mom and explained that just bc she speaks another language, to be careful how he speaks to her and that she isn’t a child. That awareness is far and away better than most of the guys bringing wives from other countries. I think he takes extreme care of the Guinea pigs (vet visits s 2x/year for guineas pigs!), so I don’t think it’s smells as bad as it could— but still, pets are ruling that apartment. I don’t shower every night before bed, BUT if I had hopes of “intimacy,” I would for sure— and those would be fresh sheets and linens on the bed. These guys never seem to realize how exhausting travel is— especially the distance so many have endured. I hope my opinion stays high of him (at least his intentions and effort) but I will be interested to see how she reacts. I hope together they address the hoarding head-on and get into a larger place and get the mother help. I was also impressed by the floral arrangement he brought her. For a first-time flower buyer, he did better than most with their grocery store flowers. This couple has potential if they address things head on and get this mother help. The other issues are the result of a young, naive, inexperienced guy who doesn’t know better. Hoping to see this one work out, but I may eat my words. (As for the mother’s teeth, healthcare —dentistry being separate in many plans—is expensive and a luxury for many. I don’t think it’s fair to mock her for something she can’t control). This is the reality of middle America.

I completely agree with you on your assessment of HIM. But SHE is another story. As a hispanic woman, I can tell you for a fact that it’s engraved in our soul/culture to NEVER marry a gringo or anyone for that matter without letting Dad know/approve first. In love she is not. She’ll eat his “cuy” (guinea pig) in a heartbeat. It’s a Peruvian delicacy after all.

I realize this; my point is that so many are making rude comments and it’s far more prevalent than people know. My point is that it’s widespread—hence “middle” America bc many assume that it’s only in poverty that this occurs. I mention America bc I live in the United States and can speak to my own country, but I obviously know this is worldwide.

I had a “baby tooth” that never fell out, then lost, and a crown that broke off

during covid times, from all of the popcorn I was chomping on LOL

          https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/29/health/cracked-teeth-covid-stress-wellness/index.html

I’ve been shown on x-ray that I have a tooth hidden in my gum where the baby tooth used to be.

Can that tooth be pulled down from the gum?

None of this is that noticeable. I used to be an actor. I don’t see myself being on-screen any longer, but if I want to do voiceovers again, I need to repair. Not into “soshul mejia,” or obsessed with myself.

I’m with everything you just said.

My mother was a hoarder, but not food garbage. And we didn’t have vermin or roaches. She mostly shoved papers in unlabeled plastic bags and piled them up for years then wouldn’t get rid of them: “Because I need to go through my papers!” And the accumulated dust.

I would be embarassed for friends to come over, but teenage boys…no way in hell would she let that happen.

      She had a temper.

I don’t see that yet, in his mom’s behavior. She seems quite docile, placating.
