And I hope they are not just 1 character names each, that would make it realy annoying to differentiate universes from say a USB device or a tty. So if they are called /dev/uv01 you would need 9 characters per universe instead of 2 at least for the first dimension, after that / + 1 character would be fine. So in a reasonable universe with sensible path defaults, the max multiverse depth would be 2043 with a trailing slash. So the highest dimension is allowed to only contain imaginary objects as there is no character left to assign to the objects.
