My prediction is that closet mom will rise to being one of the most toxic patents to ever be on 90DF. She will demonstrate extreme passive aggression, co-dependence, and will stop at no cost to maintain her hoard and control over her child. It’ll be a slow burn but eventually her true colors will show.

Totally agree. I hope Coltee 2 realizes this early on and figured out a solution. Fiancée (I’m forgetting her name) was far more polite about the situation than I expected.

💯 agree the living situation is not healthy for anybody especially a 30-year-old man that’s bringing his fiancé from another country into that environment. I think he’s a nice man and he means well and it has good intentions, but she is toxic as a mother. She has dominated his life with her mental illness and hoarding. She should not be living in a closet. They should have a two bedroom apartment if at all and that storage space is frightening. He seems like a type a guy that needs to be told what to do and she is not capable of helping herself let alone her son he should’ve been honest with her and told her about the mother before she got on the plane, it’s only gonna backfire because that mom will not leave and he says already that he feels guilty. What a shame.
