Sarper’s parents have never met a single one of his girlfriends, and he’s almost fifty years old, dating an alonat forty-five year old, yet they were convinced that they were getting grandchildren? What? When? How? I would’ve expected that they would have long given up on that.

Also, how is Sarper gonna go on about how responsible he intends to be when he ditched every chance he had to be a father to his first child for twenty five years?

    I was appalled by his mother’s words too. You can see though how he turned out to be a self entitled misogynist if this is the rhetoric about relationship and gender roles he was raised with.

      Exactly, but he loves the power this gives him over Shekinah. 2500 relationships should be something to be ashamed of and learn from, but his narcissism only let’s him see it as confirmation that he is a god in mortal form and nobody can hold him accountable. Ever.

      His parents should have at some point in the last 44 years.

        Compared to rest of Europe, yes Turkey is not as gender equal. It is a pretty progressive country though in comparison to other middle eastern countries. I do suspect that Sarper’s mom’s mentality is more on the conservative side.
