I recently inherited this pocket watch from grandfather ( https://imgur.com/a/g3cK41F ). No one in my family knows much about it besides that it was passed down to my grandfather (so at least 100 years old). On the fourth photo on the backplate you can see in small letters at the bottom that is says “Patek Phillipe”. So with this information I went to the Patek Phillipe service center in NYC, however after 10-15 minutes of inspection they informed me that they cannot verify it is an authentic Patek Phillipe and could not advise me on how I could learn more about it. They mentioned that the movement was not similar to any Patek Phillipe movement. Feeling like my family heirloom was unlikely to be a fake I went to the internet to see if I could find any watches with similar movements I found these four below.

Similar movement #1 https://imgur.com/a/sD4X9UK from (https://www.invaluable.com/auction-lot/pocket-watch-very-rare-splendour-hunting-case-wat-4025-c-ac04611b54)

Similar Movement #2 https://imgur.com/a/G2MFpHz ( from National Watch & Clock Museum’s youtube page https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D0ruMmGpJs)

Similar Movement #3 https://imgur.com/a/V754aZR (from https://shop.connoisseuroftime.com/products/1873-patek-philippe-for-tiffany-co-antique-mens-midsize-38mm-hunter-case-pocket-watch-18k-gold)

Similar Movement #4 https://imgur.com/a/V754aZR (from https://www.demesy.com/patek-philippe-vintage-18k-english-hunting-case-pocket-watch)

If anyone knows anything about Patek Philippe pocket watches from this era I would love your opinion or if you know anyone in the NYC area who could verify this that would be greatly appreciated. Not looking to resell this just hopefully get it back into working condition and properly insured.

Also because I realized the case back is hard to read below is in the inscription on the back of watch.
