i don’t think anyone has them dropping both the Jets and Patriots, the Chargers are always good to lose a winnable high stakes game, the Cowboys and Dolphins still haven’t beaten a team over .500, the Chiefs look more beatable than they’ve looked in years, and the Eagles have allowed turnover prone QBs to rip them apart all season.

it’s unrealistic to say they win out, but it’s also unrealistic to say they go 3-4 to finish the season. maybe a midseason cold streak is just a midseason cold streak and a good team is still a good team after a few losses full of dumb errors at the wrong time. if they get that sub right last night and Lutz misses the field goal, the conversation is completely different. they don’t look like the elite team they’ve been, but to say the window is closing and they are now a losing team is clickbaity overreaction.

The bills could not win another game this season and I’d still say closing the Super Bowl window is dramatic. Super Bowl caliber teams have off years. Obviously not the same caliber, but the 02 patriots went 9-7 and missed the playoffs in their 01-04 stretch which had 3 Super Bowl seasons.

Whether or not the bills are in a seasonal slump or their window is actually closed remains to be seen, but that cannot be determined by one season alone.

You can infer based off of other factors though that they’re likely looking at a soft rebuild if this season really does end in disaster. Their cap situation is terrible, they haven’t been drafting particularly well, and many of their best players (Diggs, Poyer, Hyde, Miller) are on the wrong side of thirty. In other words, they’re getting worse while teams like the Texans, Jags, and Dolphins have been getting better.

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to predict that they won’t be SB contenders next year, and probably not the year after that. Their window likely will be closed for that time, and they’ll need to re-open it through smart drafting and FA signings.

What a stupid take. As a Packers fans, even with Favre and Rodgers at QB, we still had down years and always eventually rebounded. It’ll likely be the same situation for the Bills with Allen at QB.

Fair bit of a overreaction going on to this. Broncos played well. The same Broncos that took a historic spanking a few weeks ago. Any given Monday, and all that.

If you watched them play Cincy it should have been obvious. They can’t keep up with the Bengals offense at all and that offense when healthy is a top 5 offense. Buffalo has a poor defense and a turnover laden offense. They’ve got no chance at topping the division let alone conference.

This seasons done. But we had a ton of bad injury luck, a ton of bad turnover luck, and on top of all that shitty coaching. I don’t know how any teams would survive losing the players we lost.

I’d love to get someone like Ben Johnson, grab some offensive talent…cut out old dead weight contracts and go again next year

Next year Trump will die of a heart attack, NE will get back on top of the AFC, the Bills will resume their spot at the bottom and the world will simply return to how things were in the before times.

I feel like Josh Allen is the new Phillip Rivers. They win some good games, Allen puts up good stats year after year, they make the playoffs more often than not. But at the end of the day. They can’t get it done.

They can probably make it to the playoffs at 10-7.

They have guaranteed wins against Patriots and Jets coming up.

And although a tough task, they only need to win 3 out of 5 from their their tough opponents, eagles, chiefs, dolphins, chargers, cowboys.

It might look gloom now because they are coming off a tough loss, but this is still Josh Allen we’re talking about. The same Josh Allen is that can get hot at any time. At the end of the day, they are a dangerous team that can give any team a run for their money.
