With obvious heavy influence from the submariner, this 844-derived diver line saved the entire brand for Jack Heuer in the early 80s and became the basis for its smashing success as Tag in the 90s. Was it the Invicta/Steinhart sub copycat of its day? Kinda. Do I love it today regardless? Absolutely.
