Southgate got relegated with Middlesbrough during his only spell managing in the premier league and considering Euro 2024 might be his final tournament with Eddie Howe taking over. Would a top 6, mid table or team fighting relegation consider him for the manager? For top teams I could see Spurs, Liverpool or maybe Chelsea giving him a chance one day not immediately after the Euros of course. Villa, Newcastle, Brighton are probably good shouts

He’s a good national manager. A good ambassador for the country who is a safe pair of hands and never really says or done anything rash or stupid. He’s also blessed with a talented and deep squad.

Managing in the premier league would be a test of the former and he’s not guaranteed the latter. I think he would struggle tbh.

Like other comments say do not let him takeover Villa, Emery is a superb manager just look at what he is doing with Villa and what he did with Villarreal

No top club would even consider him. I mean seriously, there is zero respect for him as a manager and the only reason he keeps his England job is that he supports his favorites and they return the favor. All of the clubs you mentioned except maybe Chelsea love their current manager, and the opinion on Poch is beginning to turn positive as they start to show some success.

Sounds about right, an unexpected job as national team manager in either the Middle East or Asia sounds believable. Southgate’s Jordan or Southgate’s Malaysia

Part of it depends on how the Euros goes. If England do well again, or even win it, he might be able to land quite a good job - probably not the very best clubs the next level down might be within reach.

He’ll almost definitely get a shot with a midtable/relegation team. Spurs could be an outlier option if Ange progresses to better things or shits the bed. Liverpool? No chance. Newcastle will want to attract a top coach next as well. They won’t trade down with their aspirations.

I don’t think any top team will hire him until he actually proves it at club level. Even most midtable clubs would be hesitant. I think a club like Fulham or Palace could be interested if they’re going through a transition in coaching already.

At best he’d go to a lower mid table club like Wolves or Bournemouth , but the likeliest option is Saudi , like Nuno or Gerrard .

He might get a relegation threatened or mid-table club like Palace if he’s lucky. No way any of the big clubs would go for him though
