I struggle to think of a smoother looking pick than Spillane’s — few things better than a backer perfectly jumping the route going in the other direction.
But off the top of my head, the best picks that come to mind recently are:
Erik Harris to seal the win against the colts: https://www.nfl.com/videos/raiders-first-int-of-19-is-pick-six-from-erik-harris
Daryl Worley was a terrible CB but probably the most remarkable INT ive ever seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbEj_r3NgB0
Jeff Heath picking Mahomes : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53fPEJb1awo
Kwiatkoski’s one hander against Denver https://www.raiders.com/video/nick-kwiatkoski-intercepts-drew-lock-to-finalize-win-over-denver
Chris Carr pick 6 against Pittsburgh in 2006
Rod Woodson pick 6 in Denver on Monday Night in 2002
Khalil Mack pick 6 on Cam Newton in 2016 (I was there)
Michael Huff game winning INT in 2011 as time expired in Houston (a day after Al Davis’ death.)
Lester “the molester” Hayes, #37, 39 picks, 4 pick-sixes. Props to Spillane!
CWood’s fist career pick six with the basketball-dribble celebration as he approached the end zone, 1998 against Arizona
Woodson in the Super Bowl. I was at Qualcomm and I would have bet it all at that moment that it was going to happen.
Trying to think of some of the others not listed.
- RIP DJ Hayden but I remember in that game when CWood finally picked off Manning he absolutely wiped Hayden out to make the INT on the 2nd one.
- Also the Jeff Heath interception against Mahomes in that KC beatdown that basically sealed that game.
Lots of great ones in here. I’ll add when Charles snagged 2 off Manning after an entire week of the media pointing out CW never picked him off.
Charles Woodson against Peyton Manning in 2015
I feel like I always comment when this is brought up but it’s so memorable to me this is definitely my pick.
Went to this game on my honeymoon for my one and only Raiders home game and one and only visit to California. The loss is irrelevant because witnessing this momentous occasion made it all the more worth it and the vibes at the Coliseum were immaculate 🤌🏼☠️
This has to be #1 in my mind. This was supposed to be a one sided game. Very few thought the Raiders could win.
Exactly what I thought of. Oh, the glory days.
I think Tory James had a big pick 6 against the dolphins in the playoffs in the 90s that i quasi remember.
It was the 2000 season
Mike Davis picking off Brian Sipe in 1980
Red Right 88
Brian Sipe forced a pass to tight end Ozzie Newsome which was intercepted in the end zone by Raiders safety Mike Davis, who had cut in front of Newsome’s square-out pass route, putting an end to the Browns’ season. Oakland subsequently advanced to the AFC conference championship, where they defeated the San Diego Chargers and went on to win Super Bowl XV against the Philadelphia Eagles.

No. 2, Jack Squirek in the Super Bowl against Washington Redskins
No. 3, Willie Brown Superbowl against Minnesota Vikings
Great choices, I wasn’t alive then, but I grew up on NFL films and occasionally watch those old game🏴☠️
The Browns had 15 yards to go with a minute or so remaining, down by 2. I thought it was over, they were going to run 2x and then kick a chip shot field goal with little time remaining. This was the first wild card team to win the super bowl. Without this happening, there would have been no super bowl.
The answer is the texans pick afer Al died with 10 on the field, but I’ve always been partial to the Amerson pick 6
ToryJames’ pick 6 of Jay Fielder in the divisional round of the 2000/01 playoffs will always be my favorite. Happened on the opening drive & set the tone for the rest of the game. The Coliseum absolutely exploded
Khalil Mack on Cam Newton was the highest I’ve ever been on this franchise.
My favorite raider game ever.
Until the 4th quarter anyway
Carr’s pick 6 vs Steelers 2006
My father is a Steeler fan and we were sitting on that side of the endzone, definitely my personal favorite interception
Chandler Jones vs Pats
