My husband and I have been to bali twice for a month a time and want to open a boutique hotel in ubud for the LGBTQ community, clothing optional we will maintain the property and cook means if booked with the stay… doesn’t have to be just LGBTQ but we definitely want it to be clothing optional.

Lol, and what are you bringing to the table other than your bright idea?

Foreign investment rules in Indonesia make it harder than you think for you to be involved in any business. And posting on Reddit is a good indicator that you’ve done very little real research.

You’ve got your own money yet asking Reddit for investors. You’ve got friends who’ve done this yet you ask Reddit instead of them. Uh huh. You say you want a nudist resort and think it’s acceptable in a Hindu-Buddhist conservative people. What are you on? You are those delusional obnoxious westerners trying to colonize Bali. Indonesia making it a law that foreigners cannot own land is frankly an amazing idea wish other countries would follow suit. Op sounds like a crackhead please don’t go to Bali they have enough problems.

Maybe start with a yoga hotel, white people love yoga almost as much as MacBooks. Then you can slowly make it clothing optional haha.

I’ve lived in Ubud for 11 months over a period of three years. This business idea will not fly with the local community, nor will you get any approval from the governor of Bali. If you understood anything about their culture you wouldn’t even think of such a business endeavor. I don’t have the space to explain it over here. I strongly advise you to discuss your idea with a local professional.

You need to make your own company first in Indonesia before asking for investors. Indonesia allowed it
