I’m biased as a Seahawks ans but I think Russell Wilson is the ultimate example of this, he seems pretty willing to either slide or run out of bounds. It’s also worth nothing that he didn’t miss a game until his 10th season despite his frequent scrambling.

Not NFL, but if you want to watch a QB scramble like crazy, watch Jordan Travis from Florida State.

Best game I can think of where he exhibits this was against Florida in 2022. Dude has legs, and is a great in-pocket passer. He will most likely be a first round or early second round draft pick.

Russ is good. Very calculating and experienced. Does like timed runs on 2nd down to gain a few. Doesn’t just recklessly throw himself forward like Allen or the younger guys on a Hail Mary sprint to get the 10 yards on 3rd down and be the hero.

Ive always had a theory that some qbs likw mahommes and russ got a pass from defenders, who let them go out untouched. Other running qbs get headhunted til the last milisecond. Russ almost got a “good run” pat on the butt from defenders.

    Anybody but AR.

In al seriousness I hope he takes better care of himself, which it looked like he was before his shoulder injury.
